Ingredients
- 600 g chicken thighs
- 3 tbsp soy sauce
- 3 tbsp vinegar
- 3 garlic cloves, crushed
- 1 bay leaf
- 1/2 tsp black pepper
- 1 tbsp oil
- 150 ml water

Instructions
- Heat oil in a pan over medium heat.
- Add chicken and brown lightly on both sides.
- Add garlic and cook briefly.
- Pour in soy sauce, vinegar and water.
- Add bay leaf and black pepper.
- Bring to a simmer and cook for 25-30 minutes until chicken is tender.
- Remove the lid and let the sauce reduce slightly until glossy.
- Serve warm with rice.
