Ingredients
- 250 g mascarpone (soft creamy cheese)
- 3 eggs
- 80 g sugar
- 200 g ladyfingers (savoiardi biscuits)
- 250 ml strong coffee, cooled
- Cocoa powder
Instructions
- Separate egg yolks and egg whites into two bowls.
- Mix egg yolks with sugar until light and smooth.
- Add mascarpone and mix until creamy.
- Beat egg whites until stiff.
- Gently fold egg whites into the mascarpone cream.
- Dip ladyfingers quickly into coffee (do not soak).
- Place a layer of biscuits in a dish, then add cream.
- Repeat layers and finish with cream.
- Dust with cocoa powder.
- Chill in the fridge for at least 2 hours before serving.
