Ingredients
- 200 g black-eyed peas (canned or soaked and peeled)
- 1 small onion
- 1 garlic clove
- 1/2 tsp salt
- 100 ml water (as needed)

Instructions
- Blend black-eyed peas, onion, garlic and salt into a thick batter.
- Add a little water if needed, but keep the mixture thick.
- Heat oil in a pan or deep fryer.
- Drop small spoonfuls of batter into the hot oil.
- Fry until golden and crispy on all sides.
- Remove and drain on paper towel.
- Serve warm with sauce.
