Instructions

  1. In a bowl, mix flour, sugar, salt and baking powder.
  2. Add milk and mix until a soft dough forms.
  3. Knead briefly until smooth.
  4. Divide dough into small balls.
  5. Flatten each ball into a round shape.
  6. Heat oil in a pan over medium heat.
  7. Fry each piece until puffed and golden on both sides.
  8. Remove and drain on paper towel.
  9. Sprinkle generously with powdered sugar and serve warm.
